WONKHE - What Martyn’s Law will mean for campus security

image of the WONKHE logo

We have been following the progress of Martyn's Law, and have supported its implementation throughout its journey. As a Mancunian myself the attack that took 22 lives was a massive blow for our city.

Todays election may stall the progress if a new goverment is announced, but we know it will be implemented at some point, as it is greatly needed.

Our Code of Practice includes areas looking at preparation in case of an attack on your institution, to keep staff and students safe. I know that some people may not know how the implementation will impact unversities and what this will mean for them, WONKHE have pubished a great article looking at what this will mean for Higher Education. You can read the full article here.
