WONKHE - We cannot afford to let estranged students Stand Alone once more

We have collaborated with Stand Alone over the years working with them on Webinars and Conferences, so it was with great sadness we heard of their closing.

Estranged students have always been a group that are overlooked and not completely understood by universities, Stand Alone changed that and have been pioneers working tirelessly for the inclusion and support of estranged students. They leave a massive hole in Higher Education and will be greatly missed, we will carry on the call for support and policies to ensure their work is not forgotten, and hope that other groups and organisations do the same.
