Times Higher Education - Labour election victory leaves universities hoping for change
The whole country is a buzz with the Labour landslide today and what they hope this means for the country. It obviously also means everyone who works in Higher Education is wondering what this means for Universities and students. Many promises have been made, so it will be interesting to see what they honour, and what their priorities are. The Times Higher Education News has published an article looking at what campaign promises were made and what they mean for universities. I know we are hoping that this will mean a move away from restrictions on international students, a lift in mental health support and the implementation of long faught campaigns like Martyn's Law.
