Times Higher Education - Complainants must be told the results of sexual misconduct investigations
An article written by Clarissa DiSantis, Kelly Prince, Vanessa Munro, Sharon Cowan Anna Bull has today featured in the Times Higher Education News, looking at the sharing of information in sexual misconduct investigations.
Obviously, each case is very individual, but certain aspects need to be addressed especially around the sharing of information, as this can cause irreparable damage if done incorrectly. While there is some guidance on how to deal with information sharing, it is just not detailed enough to support the correct procedures and outcomes and could easily be misinterpreted. As always, the writers of this article have some great guidance on how universities can support victim/survivors fully through this process.
