We’re a growing Community Interest Company with big ambitions and we need a wide and diverse range of talent to help us lead change in the higher education sector and safeguard the student experience.

 

Despite recommendations in numerous reports published over recent years, the HE sector has been slow to implement meaningful change that addresses the challenges impacting student safety, security and wellbeing. We and our Member institutions believe the HE sector must change — the status quo is simply out of date and out of order.

  

ProtectED is a response to real issues affecting the lives of students, their parents and loved ones and we are committed to ensuring the success and sustainability of our work. ProtectED was designed to be the change we want to see in the sector.

Applying for a position at ProtectED

If you are interested in a position at ProtectED, please visit our Current Jobs & Opportunities page and apply by following the instructions provided in the Job Detail document for the relevant post. Your application should include:

Covering letter – This should detail how you meet the Person Specification provided in the Job Detail and what is your motivation to work for ProtectED

 

Curriculum Vitae / Resume – This should detail your formal education (including academic record), work experience, international placements, language skills, IT skills, interests, activities and references. You should be able to provide a comprehensive description of yourself, including your work history and your achievements.

 

Please also complete the ProtectED Diversity and Inclusion Survey.

 

Submit your application via email to aspire@protect-ed.org before the closing date provided in the Job Detail for the relevant post.

 

You will hear back from us by email within 14 days of the application closing date. Should your application be shortlisted, you will be invited to attend a face-to-face interview. Depending on the pandemic situation, interviews may have to take place via Zoom.

Interview process

Interviews give us the chance to get to know you and give you the chance to learn more about ProtectED and the respective job opportunity. You will be asked to provide a short, 10-minute presentation (Powerpoint, or similar) highlighting how your skills, capabilities and experience meet the requirements for the role outlined in the Job Detail. The interview will allow you to gain a clearer picture of the responsibilities of the role, as well as the work environment at ProtectED.
